What to expect on Southwest Airlines’ next flights, if they exist
The first flights from Los Angeles to Seattle have officially opened, and the first Boeing 737 MAX to land in Seattle is now expected in the afternoon.
Southwest Airlines is offering free rides and free parking for all MAX passengers.
The MAX is currently scheduled to fly between Seattle and Denver for $99 each way, but will be available for $49 a way in early February.
The flights have been delayed due to a series of maintenance issues and cancellations.
The Delta Air Lines and United Airlines flights will continue on until they are complete.
United Airlines has said that it is also “currently on track to have all of its scheduled flights in full operation by the end of the month.”
Delta has also announced that the next flight from Los Angles to San Francisco will take place on February 11.
United announced a week ago that its flights would resume on February 14.
