The 2017 Volvo XC60 will cost $30,000 more than a competitor’s
With the Volvo X C60, we thought we’d take a closer look at the price tag.
While we know the XC 60 is currently priced between $30K and $40K, the cost is significantly higher than other competitors.
We know for example, that the new 2018 Volvo X-Trail costs $31,000 to $35,000.
However, a 2017 Volvo R-Passport comes in at $30k and a 2016 Volvo XD Turbo costs $35k.
In comparison, the 2017 Volvo xC60 comes in as a $40,000 car, which is a whopping $60K more than the $29,000 base price of the car.
Volvo is looking to increase the base price in 2017 and it looks like that’ll be in line with the rest of the cars lineup.
This will be the first Volvo X car to go on sale since the company was acquired by General Motors in 2017.
However the 2017 XC-40 will go on the market in the summer of 2018, which means Volvo could be looking to go even higher than the base pricing for the 2017 model.
While the base XC40 starts at $29K, buyers can get it up to $30M.
So, if you’re looking to get the 2017 xC40, you may have to spend more than just the base model.
